The Opportunity:Our client is a well-known accounting firm who is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their main office in Windsor, Ontario. Qualifications: What Youll Be Responsible For:Overseeing the full cycle accounting of the firmCreating financial statements and trial balancesReviewing compilation engagementsPosting journal entriesPreparing income tax returns and T4 / T5 slipsThe Ideal Candidate:Bachelors degree or certificate in Accounting or Business Administration5+ years of experience preparing Notice to Reader financial statements5+ years of computerized accounting experienceKnowledgeable in preparing both Canadian and U.S. tax returnsComplimentary Experience:CPA designation or working towards designation would be considered an assetStrong attention to detailExceptional interpersonal skills Why is This a Great Opportunity: Offer flexible hours and promote work life balanceOpen to a hybrid or remote opportunity with the ability to come into the office as neededCompetitive salaryClosed on Fridays over the summer months
