Advanced Registered Nurse

About This Role The Nurse Manager is responsible for leading and managing clinical nursing areas to ensure comprehensive quality nursing care. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership skills and a commitment to upholding nursing standards.

Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
What You'll Do Assume primary leadership and management of defined clinical nursing areas.
Facilitate and deliver comprehensive quality nursing care.
Manage the environment in which care is given.
Ensure adherence to hospital or department and university policies.
Oversee nursing policies, procedures, standards, and practices.
Act in accordance with Upstate policies and procedures.
Plan goals and customer service/marketing strategies.
Manage administrative functions and budget/cost containment.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Nursing required.
3+ years post-licensure acute care RN experience required.
NYS Licensed/Registered (or eligible) RN required.
Nursing Leadership certification preferred within three years of appointment.
