In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of patient interaction—providing compassionate service, collecting high‑quality specimens, and supporting critical diagnostic testing that helps guide life‑changing medical decisions.

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Employment Type: Contingent

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM with Saturday rotation

This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate diagnostic testing and a positive patient experience. As a key point of contact, you’ll help patients feel comfortable and confident while contributing to high-quality healthcare outcomes.

What You'll Do

Collect blood specimens using venipuncture, capillary, and pediatric/geriatric techniques

Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling and documentation

Prepare specimens for transport and testing following established protocols

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for patients

Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required

Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting with accuracy and efficiency

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Strong phlebotomy and specimen handling skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and travel to multiple locations as needed
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable)
• Proficiency with data entry and basic computer skills
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
