Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring patients
Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout the labor process
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care
Educate patients and families about childbirth and postpartum care

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

Active RN license in North Carolina
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
At least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
