We pride ourselves on creating a workplace where people help each other succeed, schedules are predictable, and team members are encouraged to grow professionally.Why You'll Love Working HerePrimarily day shifts with one-two evening shifts per weekNo overnight shifts or call responsibilitiesShared rotating weekend and holiday coverageCollaborative physicians and experienced colleagues who support one anotherScheduled hours:Part-Time – 2-3 Days/Week8am-12pmAvailability at: Lombard, Westmont, Rolling Ridge (Naperville)Responsibilities:Provides patient education in the form of written material and/or verbal explanation prior to, during and subsequent to the procedure in order to reduce the patient's anxiety and enhance his/her comfort zone with respect to tolerance of the proceduresProduces examinations that meet image quality standards in accordance with department protocols.Submits images for physician interpretation.Data must be entered accurately and in a timely fashion to provide optimal patient care.Verifies all technical data entry components are complete prior to the end of shift.Monitors stock supplies in imagining rooms to assure their regular availability by timely reordering, rotation of dated items, and by maintenance of a clean and orderly environment.Reports incidences of equipment failure.Actively participates in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Works closely with nurses and physicians to achieve positive outcomes and optimal patient flow.Performs job functions while modeling service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others.Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography programARDMS certification requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredOne to three years of ultrasound experience preferredComfortable working between our Naperville and Lisle officesIf you're looking for a place where teamwork matters, your expertise is valued, and you can build a long-term career in a supportive environment, we'd love to meet you.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $37.00 - $54.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
