Riggs Washington DC sits on the iconic downtown corner of Penn Quarter's 9th and F Street in a historic building once home to Riggs National Bank. Each of the Hotel's 181 guest rooms offers a playful nod to the building's legacy. Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.
Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests upon arrival and departure with a professional, friendly attitude.
Assist guests with loading, unloading, and transporting luggage to and from guest rooms.
Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel amenities, services, and room features.
Respond promptly to guest requests, such as delivering packages, messages, or amenities.
Coordinate with the front desk, valet, concierge, and housekeeping to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and entrance area.
Provide directions and information about local attractions, transportation, and hotel facilities.
Handle guest belongings with care and maintain confidentiality and security.
Deliver outstanding customer service while anticipating guests' needs.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and carry luggage (typically up to 50–75 lbs.)
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of Washington, DC attractions and transportation is an advantage.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per Hour
