Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule: Weekends, every other weekend (typically 3 weekend shifts per contract). Orientation: 36 hours (non-billable; final NBO hours vary by contract length).

Assignment Details: Average daily census: 21. Ratio: 1:3–4 (days/nights).

Requirements: RN license: GA or Compact required at time of submission. Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1st-time travelers accepted. Telemetry experience and dysrhythmia interpretation/management preferred. Required: BLS and ACLS. Telemetry competency exam required.

Roles & Responsibilities: Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including dysrhythmia interpretation. Provide post-operative care for cardiac and vascular patients. Administer non-invasive respiratory support using equipment such as BiPAP and CPAP. Manage acute conditions such as sepsis, DKA, GI bleed, and stroke. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes: Full compliance required to start on time; incomplete compliance may delay start. All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start. Holiday expectations: travelers may be required to work major holidays depending on the assignment period. All RTO must be finalized at time of submission.
