YOTEL/PAD Miami is looking for a Server Assistant.
Bringing to life the YOTEL Miami Food & Beverage concept.
Presents menu, answers question, makes suggestions regarding food and beverage.
Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders.
Answering customers' questions about menu choices.
Promoting and recommending menu options to customers.
Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs.
Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.
Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu.
Refill drinking glasses with water.
Assist in bringing out the guest order if the Server is busy with another guest.
Check in with the guest after 10 minutes of the food being served to ensure satisfaction.
Wipe up water spills, food stains and particles from the tables.
Thoroughly wash and sanitize all kitchen and restaurant dishes, glassware, utensils, and other equipment using a dishwasher or by hand as designated.
Wipe down counters, equipment, stools, chairs, tables, and other areas as required.
Assist with opening and closing duties assigned throughout the shift.
Ensure bar is well stocked and kept clean from top to bottom.
Adherence to all sanitation policies and protocols while embodying YOTEL Beverage & Food concept understanding how your actions and execution directly affect the guest experience.
Helps to maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and integrity by completing all duties and special projects as issued by management daily.
Maintain food safety and food handling procedures throughout shift.
Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Focus on customer satisfaction.
Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beverages.
Build good relationships with customers.
Able to work nights, weekends and holidays when business needs dictates.
Able to effectively present information in English, in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization.
Salary & Shift
Rate Of Pay: $7.50 - 10.00 per hour
Shift: Varied rotating AM and PM Shift
Full-Time/Part-Time - Full-Time
