($1,250 referrer / $250 referee - Payable after 200 hours of work)Personalized Support - Work with a dedicated recruiter committed to your success.Exclusive Employee Benefits - Enjoy free continuing education (CEUs) exclusive marketplace discounts, hotel savings, pet insurance, and Employee Assistance Program.Shift Details:Two 8 hour shifts and two 12 hour shifts weekly, hours will vary anywhere from 0700-2300.Weekends will be every other weekend,Holidays as necessaryNursing Specialty: RN CorrectionsRegistered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:Works independently in a clinic setting where a provider may not always be on-site.Assesses patients using the nursing process and manages acute, chronic, and terminal conditions within scope of practice.Monitors and reports changes in patients' physical or mental health and reactions to treatments or medications.Administers medications, vaccines, and IM/SubQ injections safely according to provider orders and medication rights.Processes medication refills and accurately transcribes provider orders.Assesses health concerns, implements appropriate interventions, and follows established nursing protocols.Performs point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and phlebotomy.Leads emergency response and provides appropriate interventions in accordance with BLS standards.Delegates and oversees tasks performed by licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of practice.Provides patient education on medications, diagnoses, treatments, and individualized care plans.Accurately documents all patient care, interventions, and encounters in the electronic health record.Minimum Qualifications:Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.Minimum of one (1) year related experience within the last 3 yearsValid BLSGraduate of an Accredited School of NursingAdditional certifications may be requiredCopy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).Benefits:Competitive PayHealth, Dental, Vision, Life & Short-Term Disability Insurance (eligibility begins after 60 days)401(k) Retirement PlanTravel Stipends for Qualified CandidatesReady to Get Started?Apply through this job posting and submit your most recent resume.
