Litigation Attorney (Remote/Full or Part-Time)

Our client is a national insurance defense firm with a thriving Austin office, in need of a talented litigation attorney to assist with case work up, discovery and taking and defending depositions. At least 25 hours per week is desired and full time hours are available to design the schedule that works best for you.

Basic Requirements for the Litigation Contract Attorney:

5+ years of experience handling insurance defense or commercial litigation matters in Texas jurisdictions

Remote working environment with proximity to appear in Travis County for hearings and depositions

Position Details of the Litigation Contract Attorney:

Type of Role: Contract

Location: Hybrid, work remotely and appear for depositions and hearings as needed

Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
