With opportunities across multiple Hillcrest communities and all shifts available, you can find a role and schedule that fits your goals.As a Medication Aide, you will support that mission by providing safe medication assistance, personal care, comfort, and dignity to residents and guests.What You'll DoAs a Medication Aide, you will support residents and guests by assisting with medications, providing daily care, and communicating changes or concerns to the nursing team.Assist with medication administration according to physician orders, care plans, and facility procedures.Follow the five rights of medication administration and maintain resident privacy and dignity.Observe residents and guests for changes in condition, behavior, or needs and report concerns promptly to the nurse.Provide personal care and daily support based on each resident's or guest's care plan.Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, toileting, and other care needs as directed.Support residents and guests with meals, hydration, dining, and daily routines.Answer call lights timely and help determine resident or guest needs.Document medication assistance, care provided, refusals, and changes accurately and timely.Partner with nurses, Nurse Techs, therapy, and other team members to support quality care.Follow infection-control practices, safety standards, and Hillcrest policies and procedures.Help maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident care areas.Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, guests, families, nurses, and team members.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and ready to provide safe, respectful support in a senior care environment.The right candidate will be attentive, organized, team-focused, and committed to helping residents and guests feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.Experience working with older adults and providing personal care services in long-term care, post-acute care, hospital, senior living, or a similar setting preferred.A compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to care.Strong communication skills with residents, guests, families, nurses, and team members.A team-first mindset and willingness to support others throughout the shift.Comfort using technology and care resources efficiently and effectively.Education & CredentialsActive Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous long-term care, post-acute care, hospital, senior living, or medication aide experience preferred.At Hillcrest, Medication Aides are an important part of the care team.
