As a Security Officer Armed Perimeter Patrol in Surry, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, road access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Support traffic and roadway-related operations near the location by observing conditions, reporting hazards or disruptions, and assisting with directional guidance when appropriate.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
