Forklift Operator - 48forty Solutions
Location: 2211 South May, Oklahoma City, OK 73108
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Hourly Pay: $17.00/hr. (starting target range; pay may vary based on experience)
Summary: The Forklift Operator will load and unload trailers carrying wooden pallets and move pallets within the plant. All employment is contingent on passing a drug screen in accordance with local and state laws.
Requirements
Forklift experience (preferred)
Quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
Observance of all safety rules and regulations
Willingness to work in a labor‑intensive environment, including overtime as needed
Effective communication skills
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, or construction setting (strongly preferred)
Work Environment
Work may involve extreme conditions (heat, cold, air particulate)
Repetitive lifting of 50-75 pounds and frequent bending, stooping, walking, turning, and standing
Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)
Requires good vision and balance, as well as eye‑hand‑foot coordination
