Contract Length: 13 weeks

Assignment Type: Temporary to Perm (opportunity to extend or go permanent based on business needs)

Shift & Schedule:

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Weekends required

Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

The RN – NICU provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care within a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This role utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for neonates and their families. The RN communicates effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and participates in identifying and implementing solutions to variances from patient goals to improve outcomes.

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 2 NICU setting

Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individualized patient care plans

Supervise and delegate nursing care activities appropriately

Communicate pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team

Minimum 2 years of Level 2 NICU experience (required – no exceptions)

Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective nursing care plans

Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services

Strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel

Hospital‑based NICU experience required

No new graduates

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (required)

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Current, active Michigan RN license (required)

On‑site position in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Candidates must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and in a high‑acuity neonatal setting
