Registered Nurse Weekend Emergency Department Night Shift

Department Overview The pediatric emergency department at Children’s Minnesota St. Paul Hospital is a 32‑bed, Level IV trauma center that specializes in the assessment and stabilization of acute pediatric illness, injury and trauma. The multidisciplinary care team of more than 150 pediatric professionals cares for over 45,000 patients a year.
Position Summary Coordinates and provides family‑centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. THIS IS AN MNA CONTRACT POSITION.
Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Minnesota RN licensure.
One year pediatric nursing experience in a hospital setting.
Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required or obtained during orientation.
Eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement and other fringe benefits. Night, weekend or on‑call work may qualify for shift differentials or premium pay.
