This role requires a skilled nursing professional to provide care in various healthcare settings, specifically focusing on neuro telemetry and surgical recovery. The RN will be responsible for managing patients with conditions such as CVA/TIA, subdurals, and seizure disorders.Scheduled Details\n \n Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM)\n Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n Holiday Requirement: Float to other medical/surgical units\n Qualifications\n \n Valid RN license in Illinois\n BLS and ACLS certifications\n NIH Stroke Scale certification\n Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required\n Experience in EPIC charting system\n Preferred Experience\n \n Specialization in neuro telemetry\n Experience with post-operative recovery from procedures such as Whipple surgeries, esophagectomies, and colon resections\n Knowledge of vascular surgery post peripheral angiograms, PAD with wounds, and lower limb amputations\n New Graduates\n We are not accepting new graduates for this position.Additional Information\n Credentialing materials are due by the Thursday prior to the start date.\Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
