Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Location: Maryland

Assignment Duration: This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule: Rotating Night/Evening shifts, primarily focusing on Night shifts. Schedule includes 3x12 or 4x12 hours; alternating weekends and holidays required.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. As an ED RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatric patients, managing various complex diagnoses and varying acuity levels.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and triage patients in the emergency department.

Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

Provide care for patients with complex medical and trauma-related issues.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective care solutions.

Ensure compliance with nursing standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland (or compact state).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting required.

Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NRP (preferred), and TNCC (preferred).

Experience with Epic charting system is required.
