The Lot Attendant / Porter will move inspect vehicles for damage, move customer vehicles in and around the lot and service areas, ensure vehicles are kept in a clean and damage free manner, and help with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot areas.The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, a positive attitude and professional appearance, and great communication skills. Candidates must be willing and able to work in a non-climate controlled environment that includes enduring the heat of summer and the cold of winter and must be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles. Experience as a Lot attendant and/or knowledge of automotive servicing and repair is a plus.RESPONSIBILITIES:Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed and in accordance with dealership display standardsMoves vehicles to maintain flow of trafficMakes key tags for vehiclesRetrieves vehicles for customers when picking up, waiting at the vehicle and thanking customers for their businessHelps maintain a clean and safe service area by performing general cleaning duties (trash removal, sweeping, etc.)Follows all safety and security proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience preferredUnrestricted driver's license and clean driving recordAble to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehiclesAble to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spacesNeat, clean, and professional appearanceStrong customer service skillsBasic computer and internet skillsBENEFITS:Employee Purchase and Service DiscountsExcellent opportunities for growth and internal promotionsFull benefits options including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and Accident Insurance401(k)
