3, 12 hour shifts per week 7p-7a

Weekend rotation

The Vascular Access Team, formally known as IV Team, is a team of specialized registered nurses who place vascular access devices in patients across the entire AH Main campus. Our team consists of nurses from all backgrounds and experience levels that have been through our onboarding experience that focuses on competency with ultrasound and all vascular access practices, including PICC line placement.

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
