This role involves working in a high-caliber work environment closely with an academic medical center. The job focuses on critical cardiac care and requires dedicated experience in cardiac post-procedural patient management.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

Provide effective care for patients with cardiac conditions including CABG, valve replacement, and heart transplants
Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage both titrating and non-titrating cardiac drips
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Demonstrate competence with unit-specific equipment and procedures
Adapt to floating across similar units when required

Requirements of the RN - PCU

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
A minimum of 1-year cardiology experience, specifically in post-procedural cardiac care
Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation skills
Experience with cardiac drips
PCCN preferred
