HR Generalist (Employee Relations + Development)

This position is to provide HR support services. This position will offer the ability to work independently and assist in the development and implementation of HR activities/projects with management guidance.

Talent acquisition (recruitment: candidate sourcing, writing job ads, attending Job Fairs, candidate screening, etc.)

Processing unemployment claims as needed

Responsible for various HR metric reporting (e.g. Maintenance of HRIS system: Recruiting, Electronic Filing and Benefits

Conducting HR New Hire Meetings as assigned.

Coordination of new hire Orientation.

Assists with Agency Training and Training compliance.

Various HR projects as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred. An Associate Degree with HR Certification and/or 3 years of lived experience is a minimum requirement.

General Human Resources Knowledge including: Employee relations, Employee Engagement and leadership; Recruiting, HR Regulatory Federal and State compliance laws (e.g. Compensation Analysis, Risk Management and HR best practices.

Previous experience with ADP Applicant Tracking System a plus+

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)

Proficient with Adobe software
