We're seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to support our San Diego, CA location. If you're passionate about sustainable design, technical excellence, and leading impactful projects, we'd love to hear from you.
Pre-Design Engineering
Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment report
Prepare electrical schematic designs
Design Engineering
Design power single line and riser diagrams
Perform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow) using ETAP/SKM
Lighting fixtures and power equipment selection
Perform lighting and power circuiting
Design and coordinate the lighting control system
Prepare fire alarm device layout based on International Fire Code and NFPA 72
Design fire alarm riser diagrams, calculations, and sequence of operations
Understand and utilize CAD/BIM standards
Have a working knowledge of National Electrical Code and Energy Standards to design medium voltage and low voltage electrical systems
Coordination among different disciplines, such as mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, and architectural. Work in close contact with the entire design team
Construction Administration
Review equipment submittals.
Support electrical design projects with a focus on lighting systems.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Assist with lighting circuiting and lighting controls design.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP for design documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (required).

• 2-5 years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience with lighting design preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required).
• AGi software experience is a plus.
