Part-Time Faculty Pool - Dental Hygiene Instructor

Provide clinical instruction to students in the Dental Hygiene Program. Uses established calibration protocol to evaluate student performance of clinical skills and related practice procedures pertaining to radiography and office management software.

• Monthly program faculty meeting.
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program / registered dental hygienist.
• Current Massachusetts Dental Hygiene License.
• Current Massachusetts Local Anesthesia Permit L.
• Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or closely related field.
• Strong clinical experience in dental hygiene.
• Strong skills in supportive communication and guiding students to develop and demonstrate correct techniques.
• Experience utilizing digital radiography and computerized dental management software.

Instructional experience in an academic or clinical setting.
# Willingness to learn academic software to assess/evaluate student performance.

60.37 per hour. Part-time, non-benefited, MCCC Unit position.
