Full time PT and PTA Needed

Physical Therapist (PT) or Assistant (PTA) - Full-time
Southwoods Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation - Austintown, Ohio
Southwoods Health is seeking a Outpatient PT or PTA to join our Austintown team. PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PT)
Performs patient-centered evaluations and treatments that meet all professional and regulatory standards.
Evaluation: Review physician referrals and medical records; Plan of Care: Develop and revise treatment plans to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
Collaboration: Work with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to integrate therapy into the patient's total healthcare plan.
Oversee PTAs, students, and unlicensed personnel per state and federal requirements.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current or pending Ohio State PT licensure.
Experience in an outpatient therapy setting preferred.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA)

Administer physical therapy treatments to restore function and relieve pain following the PT's established plan.
Regularly confer with the supervising PT and care team regarding patient progress.
Complete clinical documentation accurately and within facility timeframes.
Professionalism: Maintain flexibility in scheduling and participate in facility training and in-services.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Active Ohio State PTA licensure.
Experience in an outpatient therapy setting preferred.

Status: Full-Time.
