Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of a Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required.
Active medical assistant certification required for certain specialties; required certifications include AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, AAMA, or CPR, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Phlebotomy certification may be required, to be completed within 90 days of hire.
Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or at least 2 years of experience in a medical office assisting with patient care.
CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire.
Compensation
The base pay range for a Medical Assistant is $21.43–$23.63, and for a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant it is $22.97–$24.57. Pay is based on skills, experience, education, certifications, location and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
Responsibilities

Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures.
Assist certified medical assistants with immunizations or injections.
Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing.
Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values.
Travel to assist other local clinics may be required.
