Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) on the Med/Tele unit is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. The RN will demonstrate competence in nursing practice and comply with the policies and standards of the facility.
Responsibilities
Provide general medical-surgical nursing care to patients.
Initiate IV therapy, manage Foley catheters, and perform dressing changes.
Assist in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) for patients.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using Meditech.
Implement patient safety protocols and quality care standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and active Texas RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in Med/Tele nursing.
• 2+ years of hospital experience required.
