Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU (Weekend Night Shift)

PACU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Mids, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Call required every 4th weekend and one night per week.

The PACU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit. This role requires critical thinking and effective communication skills, as well as the ability to float to endoscopy, pre-operative, and surgery center units as necessary.

Manage and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia.

Ensure patient safety and comfort during the recovery phase.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.

Document all patient assessments and interventions accurately.

Valid RN license.

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Previous PACU or ICU experience required.

Ability to float to multiple areas such as endo, pre-op, and surgery center.
