Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN Physician)

Carle Health is seeking a full-service BE/BC Obstetrician and Gynecologist physician to join our established practice in Urbana, Illinois. Candidates interested in both full-time and part-time work are welcome to apply.

Established multi-specialty practice that includes BC/BE OB/GYNs, OB Hospitalists, Midwives, and Advanced Practice Providers

• 24-hour in-house call coverage with 3 physicians (2 general OB/GYNs and 1 hospitalist) and 1 CNM. Monthly call for a 1.0 FTE position is 4, 24-hour shifts
• Admit to only one hospital - Carle Foundation Hospital
• 24-hour dedicated Labor & Delivery anesthesia coverage
• State-of-the-art, family-oriented L&D unit with 5 private triage rooms and 7 spacious fully-appointed LDRs
• 5 Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians. 24/7 MFM coverage on dedicated antepartum unit adjacent to Labor and Delivery
• Additional Obstetric support services include
• Fetal Care Center (for antepartum surveillance)
• 24x7 in-house Neonatology coverage. 48 NICU beds.
• On-site Women's Health sub-specialties: Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Reproductive Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecology (including da Vinci © systems).
• Academic and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine.
• OB/GYN Residency Program (participation required; Consideration will be given to candidates desiring balanced OB/GYN, OB dominant, and OB only.
