Discover your full potential – join us to advance your career while leaving a lasting legacy.Tetra Tech is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of electrical systems for municipal and industrial water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on technical design, collaboration, and continued professional development within a consulting environment.Essential Functions:Support the planning, design, and analysis of electrical systems for water, wastewater, and infrastructure facilities.Develop electrical deliverables including one-line diagrams, control schematics, and panel wiring diagrams.Design low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems, lighting, grounding, and related electrical systems.Assist with the preparation of technical specifications, cost estimates, and basis-of-design documentation.Contribute to the development of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.Perform power system studies such as load flow, short-circuit, and coordination analyses using software such as SKM Power*Tools, ETAP, or EasyPower.Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support integrated project delivery.Participate in client meetings and internal design reviews as needed.Support construction administration activities, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, schedules, and quality requirements.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.EIT certification required.
