Responsibilities and Duties:
In this capacity, you will provide essential personal care and support to clients with their activities of daily living, including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Assisting with client mobility and safe transfers throughout the home
Performing housekeeping duties, such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, laundry, changing bed linens, and general bathroom sanitation
Preparing meals and snacks in accordance with client instructions
Accompanying clients on errands and to medical appointments
Assisting with personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving
Providing medication reminders
Facilitating prescribed range-of-motion exercises
Delivering specialized dementia care
Providing companionship through engaging activities such as reading, music, and puzzles
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) as required for the role.
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance/registration.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Certification as a CNA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide is preferred.
