Job Title: Welding Fabricator

This role involves performing MIG welding and metal fabrication tasks in a manufacturing environment, working from measurements and drawings to produce high-quality finished components. You will support the full fabrication process, from initial fit-up through deburring, sanding, and grinding, while safely using a variety of hand and power tools.

Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components in a manufacturing environment, following established procedures and quality standards.

Read and use a tape measure accurately on a daily basis to ensure precise measurements and proper fit-up of parts.

Fabricate metal parts and assemblies according to specifications, drawings, or instructions.

Set up, operate, and maintain hand and power tools commonly used in welding and fabrication.

Inspect welds and fabricated parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed.

Collaborate with other shop team members to meet production goals and support continuous workflow.

Hands-on experience with MIG welding in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Practical experience in metal fabrication, including fitting, welding, and finishing.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Any education related to welding or metal fabrication is a plus.

Any certifications in welding or fabrication are a bonus.

Familiarity with different welding positions and techniques is beneficial.

Experience working in a manufacturing or shop environment is advantageous.

You will join a small, tight-knit shop where your contributions are visible and valued, and where you can build your welding and fabrication skills through hands-on work. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liberty, MO.
