Clinical Dietitian I
Work Shift: Day 08hrs (United States of America)

The Clinical Dietitian I provides age appropriate nutrition care with an emphasis on family centered care through competent practice, education, and consultation; participates as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team; serves as a resource for the medical and nursing staff, ancillary team members and community providers. Will utilize clinical practice & knowledge of pediatric nutrition, the nutrition care process, & medical nutrition therapy to provide evidence-based nutrition care.
Completion of a minimum of twelve (12) weeks Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited dietetic internship in an acute care setting.
Preferred: One year of clinical nutrition experience, pediatrics preferred.
Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Dietetics or Nutrition related field from an accredited university. Successful completion of the registration exam to become a Registered Dietitian within 45 days of hire.

Training:
~ California Children's Services (CCS) panel-eligible (per CCS paneling requirements) within two years of hire.

Excellent customer satisfaction skills; Demonstrated ability to successfully provide/ promote safe care within the parameters of licensure and regulatory requirements, practice requirements and hospital systems. Successful completion of the registration exam to become a Registered Dietitian within 45 days of hire; Registered Dietician Licensure; California Children's Services (CCS) paneled.
