Description:
This position involves working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
The unit features a capacity of 28 beds.
Patient ratios typically range from 4 to 6 on caseload.
On average, therapists treat 3 to 4 patients daily, occasionally up to 5 patients.
Staffing includes 2 therapy techs during weekdays and 1 on weekends.
Available equipment includes hi-low mats, Nustep, parallel bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and BITS interactive computer system.
The documentation system utilized is Meditech.
Scheduling requirements include Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility in start and end times.
Weekend shifts are required twice during the 13-week assignment.
No floating to other units is required.
Staff members highlight positive culture and managerial support within the facility.
The facility is recognized for its specialized services, including a renowned burn center and a human motion institute.
Additional services include a digestive disease center, pelvic health institute, and a stroke center.
The surrounding community offers a rich cultural experience with dining, nightlife, and events.
