Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
Charge nurse experience is preferred.
Nurse to patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:2.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
First-timers are accepted for this position.
The nurse may be floated to the Mother Baby Unit as needed.
The nurse will provide care for neonates and adults.
Daily census ranges from 120 to 150 patients.
Familiarity with the recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns and the use of external fetal monitoring is essential.
