Title
Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Requirements

• Valid RN license in hand
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP required; AWHONN Advanced preferred
• EMR: Epic

• Provide care during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases for neonates, adolescents, and adults.
• Conduct fetal monitoring and recognize abnormalities in fetal heart patterns.
• Administer obstetric medications and assist with procedures related to labor and delivery.
• Manage neonatal care, including assessments and resuscitation as necessary.
• Support breastfeeding and lactation as part of postpartum care.
• Participate in rapid response and code situations as needed.

• Orientation: 36 hours
• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
• Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Pre-approved time off: one
• Charting: Epic
