Home Health Aides are responsible for light cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry, as well as assisting clients with bathing, showering, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks. Additionally, personal care aides might consult with a client's family members and nursing staff to address their concerns regarding the client's health, nutrition, and overall well-being. Computer literate, with EMR experience.

SHIFTS: 12 hour shifts; Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 7pm-7am shifts available.

Hourly rate: $21.00-$22.00/hr

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse

Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, cooking, feeding and light housekeeping

Assist with patient assessments and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff

Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Strong patient care skills and ability to provide compassionate care

Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures

Experience with home care services is a plus

The role involves managing challenging interactions with staff, public officials and private representatives while interpreting and implementing departmental policies and procedures.

Employee will have to travel to a variety of patient homes and perform in conditions that vary greatly depending upon the client's home environment. Some homes will be clean, neat, and maintained at a comfortable temperature.
