Fully Remote Project Architect

Handel Architects is an internationally recognized architecture firm with offices in New York City, Boston, San Francisco, and Hong Kong. Our work includes interior design, architecture and urban design and aims to leverage individual opportunities to create something greater: positive urban and social change. Our New York office is currently seeking highly skilled Project Architects and Designers with 6-10 years of professional experience and very strong Revit capabilities . This position provides the opportunity to take on a leadership role within your team, collaborating with senior team members on projects with a high level of design. We believe in nurturing the "whole architect," and offer experience in design through construction documentation and administration.

Professional degree in Architecture

Revit proficiency & experience managing model and coordination with multiple consultants

Fluency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and MS Office

Working knowledge of NYC building codes, zoning, ADA requirements, and other applicable standards

Day-to-day coordination with project team, including consultants

Work closely with Project Manager to bring the project from feasibility and concept design through documentation and construction administration

Collaborate with design team in producing design documents and presentations for client and consultant meetings

Remote Work Policy

To support onboarding, training, and team integration, new hires are required to work from the office full-time during their first six months. After this initial onboarding period, employees transition to the firm’s hybrid schedule of three in-office days and two optional remote days per week.
