RWJBarnabas Health is Seeking a Radiation Oncologist in Central New Jersey
RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist to join a highly specialized, multidisciplinary oncology team. This Per Diem Radiation Oncologist position supports a busy and growing clinical practice within the state's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment alongside nationally recognized specialists, with coverage responsibilities across multiple RWJBarnabas Health hospitals, including New Brunswick, Hamilton, and Somerset.

The Radiation Oncologist will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based cancer care across the continuum. This physician will collaborate closely with a robust, multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while contributing to the continued growth and development of oncology services across the system.

Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care, including evaluation, treatment planning, simulation, delivery, and post-treatment follow-up
Partner with specialists across palliative care, psychology, social work, rehabilitation services (PT/OT/Speech), nutrition, nursing, medical physics, and dosimetry
Support program development and growth initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with referring physicians
Participate in quality improvement efforts to enhance clinical outcomes and standardize care delivery
Adhere to all compliance standards, including corporate policies, code of conduct, and conflict of interest guidelines

Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary oncology team
Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
