Travel RRT Respiratory Therapy

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift position at a Level 3 Trauma Center, requiring at least 1 year of experience.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

NICU experience preferred

BLS and NRP certifications required

CRT or RRT license required, if applicable

Valid Oklahoma or Compact license required at time of consideration

Epic charting experience required

Responsibilities

Acute care hospital setting with a Level 3 Trauma Center designation

171 staffed beds

Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00

Weekend rotation required every other weekend

Open to accommodating block schedules

Epic EMR experience preferred

Scrub color varies by unit

Provide respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostics support within the RRT unit

First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers

Free on-site parking available

Facility follows a zero-fault attendance policy where any missed scheduled shift, regardless of reason, is considered unexcused

Two or more missed shifts may result in a warning, and three or more may result in cancellation

Maximum of 5 total days of RTO allowed during the 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO

No additional RTO permitted after submittal or while on contract

No blocked or special scheduling requests accommodated

Travelers must commit to reporting to the lab within 48-72 hours of signing
