A well- established civil infrastructure contractor with 80+ years in business is hiring an Estimator to support their growing preconstruction team.

The company is coming off a banner year of major project wins and has a strong backlog of infrastructure work across New England.

This role reports directly to the Vice President of Estimating, a highly respected leader who has led bids on major infrastructure projects and is known for developing strong estimators.

Types of Projects

• Bridge rehabilitation and construction • Highway and roadway projects • Wastewater and sewer infrastructure • Site development and public works projects

Projects range from municipal infrastructure work to large design- build projects exceeding $ 75M.

Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates • Analyze labor, equipment, and material costs • Build estimates using Bid2Win and Excel • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor/ vendor pricing • Participate in pre- bid meetings and site visits • Assist with design- build proposals and technical submissions • Collaborate with project managers and field teams during bid development

Experience • ~5+ years estimating civil infrastructure or heavy civil projects

Project Experience Could Include • Roads / highways • Bridges • Utilities ( water, sewer, wastewater)• Site development • Public infrastructure

Additional Experience That Helps • MassDOT / RIDOT / MBTA projects • Bid2Win experience • Strong Excel skills
