Surgery - Surgeon (Physician #)
Bassett Medical Center
Perform thoracic surgeries, including minimally invasive and complex procedures.
Collaborate with surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, pulmonologists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
Participate in clinical research and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in medical student and General Surgery residency education.
Call for thoracic patients is shared with General Surgeons on nights and weekends.
Job Requirements Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Completion of a residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Thoracic Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Board certification or eligibility in Thoracic Surgery.
Valid medical license in New York State.
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $100,000
Paid Time Off: 22 business days per year, with 10 days of CME, 4 personal days and a $4,500 CME annual allowance.
