Caf Staff Position

This position contributes to the success of Think by efficiently providing a high standard of customer service to all patients/customers. This job creates the Think experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, friendly and comfortable environment. The Caf hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm M-F.

Key Responsibilities:

Practicing excellent customer service, preparing drinks and food items for patients throughout building, maintaining bar cleanliness.

Ordering supplies, keeping bar stocked with merchandise and food items.

Accurately using POS and proper cash handling techniques.

Merchandising, sampling, and selling muffins, cookies and other food items.

Brewing and maintaining coffee air-pots and shuttles in four key areas; ensuring freshness and replenishing supplies in these areas several times per day.

Bussing and sanitizing tables, chairs, and bar.

Displaying knowledge of product, menu, and use of equipment by following prescribed recipes and standard barista techniques; continuing education on how to properly operate equipment.

Preparing and serving coffee, drinks and food items at the Agora Caf

Greeting everyone, making an emotional connection with customers; helping with menu questions.

Opening and closing the caf.

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of barista experience
• Strong customer service background
• Punctual and regular attendance
