Description: The role involves providing care to patients on a Medical-Surgical unit. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and performing necessary medical procedures. Nurses must manage various patient diagnoses including diabetes, pneumonia, and renal failure. Candidates should be competent in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Experience with postoperative care is preferred, including post-cardiac surgery and post-angiogram. The ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team is essential. Candidates may be required to float to different units based on the needs of the healthcare facility. Flexibility in scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
