A bartender is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by preparing and serving beverages, taking food orders, and delivering meals to guests in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of drink recipes, food menu items, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Mix, garnish, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences.

Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.

Deliver food orders to guests promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.

Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies, restocking as necessary, and communicating low stock levels to management.

Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area, including washing glasses, cleaning tables, and sanitizing equipment.

Accurately process payments, handle cash, and operate the point of sale (POS) system.

Adhere to all local and state alcohol serving laws and regulations, including verifying the age of customers.

Work closely with other staff members, including kitchen staff and other servers, to ensure seamless service.

Assist in setting up and serving during special events or busy periods, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Previous experience as a bartender or server in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.

Understanding of food menu items and pairing recommendations.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests. Current 'Beer Savvy' Beer Server Certification; Food handling certification may also be required.

Ability to work in close quarters and keep pace during high volume shifts

Flexibility to work unconventional hours nights & weekends required
