Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Acute Care

Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced MedSurg/Acute Care unit. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist with post-surgical care and pain management, including CIWA patients.
Collaborate with healthcare team to assess and implement patient care strategies.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, PCTs, and sitters as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Previous experience in MedSurg or acute care settings is required.
Previous experience with HCA preferred.
