Health Care Advocate Specialist

Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time Patient Relations Representative to join our team!

Gastro Health is a great place to work and advance in your career. The Patient Advocate Specialist will review patient balances to ensure accurate billing and to address any concerns or questions posed by care center staff or patients relating to those billed balances.

No weekends or evenings – Monday thru Friday

Paid holidays and paid time off

Meets Quantity (100%) and Quality Required Benchmark (90% - To be evaluated through audits)

Able to effectively complete Patient Advocate tasks which include resolve patient billing issues received via Smartsheet or a patient collections queue, posting self-pay adjustments, making and receiving patient phone calls, maintaining proper claim collection codes, monitoring patient payment plans and replying to TSI disputes.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience in a healthcare environment or a healthcare claims environment is a strong plus.
