Are you a compassionate and skilled dentist looking to make a positive impact on patients' lives? Tulane Doctors is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in Alexandria, LA. As a full or part time dentist at Tulane Doctors, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality dental care to our Infectious Disease patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Tulane Doctors Dental Office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, closed on Fridays and weekends.

All patients are referred from Tulane Doctors ID Clinic with a patient volume of 12 to 14 patients a day.

Perform a full range of general dentistry procedures in a clinical setting

Conduct dental prophylaxis and digital x-rays

Deliver dental care to patients with infectious diseases and complex health conditions, following strict infection control protocols

Collaborate closely with 3 medical specialists and case management teams to ensure coordinated patient care

Document all treatments and procedures in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards

Participate in treatment planning and consultations to ensure comprehensive patient care

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental procedures, technologies, and safety practices

DDS or equivalent degree from an accredited dental school

Current and valid licensure to practice dentistry in Louisiana from the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry

Comfortable working with patients who have infectious diseases or complex health needs

Familiarity with digital dental technologies and electronic health records

Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary medical teams
