Construction Management/Civil Engineering

F&A) is a dynamic consulting firm based in Seattle WA, specializing in innovative land surveying, geospatial services, construction management, and engineering solutions. We are a privately held firm working on a variety of community improving infrastructure projects throughout the Puget Sound region, including Sound Transit’s Link Light Rail Extensions, King County CSO Program, and with various City and County agencies on utility, port and corridor projects. Our team currently has an opening for an experienced individual to fill the role of Civil Engineer. In this position, the successful applicant will be responsible for working with the Project Manager to ensure project delivery. The Civil Engineer will work under the direction of the Project Manager, assisting on large engineering projects. F&A works primarily on large public works projects in the Seattle area, and in this role you will be helping our clients deliver on these important projects.

Help manage and oversee project deliverables to ensure that client expectations are being met

• Continually coordinate with Engineering staff and all other departments
• Perform engineering calculations and design
• Assist with preparing engineering/technical documents
• Other duties as assigned by Project Manager

Prepare and review Legal Descriptions

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or equivalent

• 1-3 years of experience in engineering
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint programs
• Ability to quickly learn other supporting software a plus
• Fundamental knowledge of engineering, land surveying or construction
