Description:
This position is for a travel RN in Clienttion Oncology.
The role involves working in an outpatient clinic environment.
The unit has 4 exam rooms and a small team consisting of 2 RNs, a Director who is also an RN, a Gamma Knife RN, 2 front office team members, 2 physicists, and 3 MDs.
The clinic operates primarily during the day shift with 1 to 2 RNs on duty.
Estimated patient ratios are 1-2 patients per RN.
Candidates must have a compassionate personality as they will be caring for patients battling cancer.
Responsibilities include patient care, symptom management, and educating patients on radiation therapy and its side effects, such as skin changes and fatigue.
Experience with electronic documentation systems, specifically Meditech and Client EMR, is required.
Candidates with prior experience in Clienttion Oncology will be prioritized.
The unit is currently experiencing growth, with an expansion and new equipment being introduced, making it an exciting time to join the team.
