Head of Project Management

Job Overview We are seeking an organized and driven Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee custom automation and robotics projects from initial kickoff through final installation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams, coordinating resources and managing project timelines to deliver successful automation solutions. Responsibilities Manage multiple automation and robotics projects from project kickoff through completion and customer acceptance.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project execution.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular project updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, controls, and robotics engineers to ensure project milestones are met.

Facilitate internal and customer meetings, documenting action items and following up to ensure timely completion.

Identify project risks, resolve issues proactively, and implement solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts.

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure materials and services are delivered on schedule.

Monitor project costs, prepare status reports, and communicate progress to management and stakeholders.

Support equipment installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities as needed.

Continuously improve project management processes and contribute to the successful delivery of future automation projects.

Experience Bachelor\'s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.

Experience managing engineering, manufacturing, industrial automation, or capital equipment projects is highly desirable.

Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.

Experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar tools is preferred.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, project documentation, and technical specifications is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

PMP certification or other project management certifications are a plus but not required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
